A free public Montessori school created by the community, for the community.

Offering a tuition-based preschool program for 3 and 4 year olds (UPK eligible), tuition-free Kindergarten, and 1st through 3rd grade elementary in Fruita, Colorado. 

OUR GOAL

At Monument View Montessori we create an environment where all students believe in their endless potential. We are a group of educators, parents, and community members who have come together to build a school community that encourages students to become self-motivated, lifelong learners.

Michael Girodo, Head of School

I'm honored to serve as Head of School for a community of educators, board members, and parents who have put so much heart and soul into building this school. I've spent 40 years working in holistic and alternative education, and I've never seen a community show up for a school quite like this one does.

Enrollment is open year round. Our K-3 Lottery closes on the third Monday in February.
